What to expect from the Perpetual Recruitment Process
To attract the best talent for the Perpetual Team, we have designed a robust recruitment process that allows us to find the right people for our business. Selection criteria and progression through the recruitment process is solely at Perpetual's discretion.
The Perpetual recruitment process will involve most of the activities outlined below but may differ slightly based on the role you have applied for. At all stages of the process we are committed to providing you with timely updates. Should you be unsuccessful at any stage we will notify you as soon as possible via email or phone.
Find your next career opportunity with Perpetual by searching positions available in our Workday Career Portal. You can make the search easier by adding selection criteria such as keywords, role titles and locations.
Before you click apply, please read through the advertisement to ensure the role functions and responsibilities align with your career aspirations. You can submit your application through the Career Portal by selecting the ‘Apply’ button.
If you already have a Workday profile, you can sign in and apply with your existing information. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password by clicking the ‘Forgot Password’ button.
If your application meets the selection criteria for the position you have applied for, our Talent Acquisition team will contact you for an initial phone interview. This is usually the first step towards a face-to-face interview, and will help the team assess your skill set and motivation for applying for the position.
We will assess your skills and experience against a number of required competencies for the position, and will ask you both behavioural and technical/job specific questions. If you are successful following the initial phone interview, you’ll be invited to an interview with the Perpetual hiring manager and other key individuals relevant to the position. The interview will also give you with the chance to ask questions and find out additional information about Perpetual to help you decide whether the position is right for you. The number of interviews required will depend on the role you are applying for.
Following the successful completion of the interview process you will be required to undertake pre employment checks that are completed in Workday.
We will request references from a manager or supervisor from your two most recent employers. Please note, personal references will not be accepted.
We also require a valid passport (particularly if you are not an Australian Citizen) or a birth certificate.
Your letter of offer will be sent to you in Workday as a task. You will need to review the letter of offer and accept with the click of a button. You will also receive a link to complete background checks including national record check, qualifications and licence checks. This enables us to meet important regulatory and compliance requirements.

The following are the most commonly asked questions we receive from prospective employees when they apply for a role at Perpetual.
Must I be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to apply for a role with Perpetual in Australia?
You must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen, a Permanent Resident or have a valid work visa to be considered for a job with us. If you're a non-citizen on a valid visa with no work restrictions, we can offer a maximum term contract that falls within the validity period of your visa.
All candidates need to submit their application online via our Careers Portal.
If your application meets the selection criteria for the position you have applied for, our Talent Acquisition team will contact you for an initial phone interview. This is usually the first step towards an interview with the business, and will help the team assess your skills, experience and motivation for applying for the position. Once your application has been reviewed and assessed by our Talent Acquisition you will be notified of an application outcome.

If a job opportunity no long appears on the website it means that applications are either in process or the job is closed.
