Delivering exceptional outcomes
Doing what's right
We have a high-performance culture, anchored in trust which empowers our people to deliver their best work. Our unique culture is underpinned by our three organisational behaviours - How we show up - Stretch, Own it, and Make an Impact.
Our behaviours are how our employees live and breathe Perpetual’s purpose and values through day-to-day interactions with colleagues and clients. They infuse all we do, reinforcing how we recruit, promote and reward, and provide the framework to achieve our ambition of delivering on our growth strategy.
Perpetual’s strong heritage is built on trust, integrity, stability, and an unwavering focus on doing the right thing.
Our employee experience is unique - our headcount makes us a smaller sized firm, but we create a big impact with the work we do. Working here, you’ll not only be part of a growing global team, you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with high-calibre people whilst delivering exceptional outcomes for our clients.

Our Diversity and Inclusion (D+I) Council is chaired by our CEO and meets quarterly to progress our strategy and key initiatives.
Our three diversity and inclusion strategic goals:
Inclusion: A high-performance culture that empowers our people to grow.
Equity: A level playing field for all.
Identity: Our people feel valued and confident to bring their unique self to work.
We’ve achieved a lot in diversity and inclusion, but here are some of the initiatives that we are most proud of:
WGEA Employer of Choice accreditation
Perpetual has been recognised by The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) for being an employer who is committed to promoting gender equality in Australian workplaces. Perpetual is proud to be a Employer of Choice for Gender Equality since 2018
“The WiBF Mentoring for Success program was a little bit like match making in that you are paired with a mentor from another organisation based on your career goals, strengths and development areas. The ability to get an outsider perspective was invaluable in enabling me to see the forest for the trees. I am still in contact with my mentor today and anticipate that I will continue to be for years to come.”
Jawun Secondment Program
"I touched down on the Mparntwe land (known as Alice Springs) to commence the Jawun Secondment Program. Jawun works towards improving the lives of Indigenous people around the country by supporting communities on the ground through their partnerships with corporations, government and Indigenous people.
Over the next six weeks I will be working with Purple House on a recruitment drive initiative. Purple House is an Indigenous owned and run non profit health service helping patients stay on country while getting the dialysis treatment they need in remote communities.
I am so grateful to be part of this program and it is thanks to Perpetual Limited’s long-term partnership with Jawun that I am here."
Belinda Le, Marketing Manager – 2022 Jawun Secondee
"As the CEO of Perpetual, I am fully committed to continuing to build a more diverse and inclusive environment and achieving gender equality. I believe that diverse and genuinely inclusive teams make our people feel more positive and engaged about their work at Perpetual, which encourages them to stay with us for longer. This can be achieved through creating a culture where people feel safe and confident, which is why at Perpetual we have zero tolerance of workplace discrimination, sexual harassment and bullying. Diversity of thought and opinion is a big part of what makes an organisation successful – it leads to better decisions and better results, which is good for our clients, our people and our shareholders. Though we still have work to do, I am confident that we can exceed our aims in the short to medium term."
Rob Adams, CEO and Managing Director of Perpetual Limited
