During office refurbishments at Angel Place and Chifley Towers, Perpetual engaged FF&3 to provide next-life solutions for furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E). FF&3 conducted a comprehensive audit and compiled a detailed inventory of all FF&E on site. They then developed a strategy to maximise rehoming and achieve positive social impact by donating FF&E that was no longer in use.

As a result, 1,035 FF&E items were donated to 15 charities and three public schools, diverting 23.9 tonnes of furniture from landfill. One of the recipient organisations was ReLove, which redirects quality furniture to individuals and families impacted by domestic violence and homelessness.

Following the internal art auction held by Perpetual, which raised additional funds, 129 pieces of art were donated to ReLove. The funds raised were split between two initiatives:

  • Half was donated to ReLove, supporting the furnishing of eight families’ new safe homes — providing over $80,000 worth of essential furniture and homewares, delivered with dignity and completely free.
  • The other half was used to reupholster and refresh 14 visitors' chairs at the Royal Hospital for Women in Randwick, enhancing comfort for patients and their loved ones.
