Kyle joined Perpetual Private in July 2014 and is responsible for the investment research capability, leading a team of highly experienced researchers. Prior to this role, he was General Manager - Research & Operations for Perpetual Investments, where he managed key ratings house relationships and maximised rating outcomes across all funds and asset classes.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Kyle managed research house relationships for NAB Wealth, covering all MLC and nabInvest boutique fund managers. Prior to that, Kyle was Research Manager with ThreeSixty, MLC's adviser services division, covering direct equities, alternatives and structured products, with responsibilities for Approved Product Lists, model portfolios of both direct equities and managed funds as well as management of the direct equities research team.
Kyle earned his Bachelor of Accounting with Distinction from the University of Technology, Sydney (1997). He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a Certified Practising Accountant.

Luke joined Perpetual as a part of the acquisition of Fordham Investment Management in 2010. He has held a number of roles across paraplanning, client advisory, funds management and research analysis, including managing a team of research analysts within the Fordham business and part of the investment management team of a public offer superannuation fund.
Luke’s current role as Investment Specialist has responsibility for making the Perpetual Private investment process as transparent and accessible as possible to advisers, intermediaries and clients.
Luke holds a Bachelor of Commerce (University of Melbourne); Masters of Applied Finance (Finsia), Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning (Kaplan) and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (F Fin).

Tom works closely with advisers by providing investment specialist knowledge on the Private’s research team’s investment decisions and suite of investment products. Tom aims to assist clients by providing transparent and accessible knowledge of financial markets and asset classes both globally and domestically.
Tom, having recently returned from London has global market experience and has held a number of roles in analysis and trading for both buy and sell-side organisations.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Liberal Studies (International) from the University of Sydney, with majors in Mathematics, Economics and German and is a CFA level III candidate having passed level II in 2015.

Theo joined Perpetual in June 2003 and is responsible for the external manager investment process, including manager research and selection, portfolio construction and sourcing new opportunities across various asset classes.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Theo was a Portfolio Manager for Optimix Investment Management, ING’s multi-manager group. At Optimix he was responsible for Australian Equity manager research and selection, portfolio construction and tactical asset allocation.
Theo holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology Sydney and a Masters in Applied Finance from Macquarie University.

Eu Joe joined Perpetual in June 2011 with a specific focus on defensive assets across both the traditional and alternative space. He currently maintains Perpetual Private’s direct fixed interest offering and is involved with manager research, portfolio construction and asset allocation decisions.
Prior to this role, Eu Joe was the leading analyst at van Eyk for all Fixed Interest and Global Listed Infrastructure reviews. At van Eyk, he was responsible for managing both the Blueprint Diversified Income and the Blueprint Property and Infrastructure Fund.
Eu Joe has also been a Senior Analyst at Deloitte Corporate Finance with a focus on IT related corporate transactions. Eu Joe was a credit analyst at Grange Securities (later acquired by Lehman Brothers) and specialised in direct Hybrid/Credit and Securitisation research.
He is well qualified with a double degree in a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Engineering (University of Sydney). Eu Joe has also completed a number of post graduate qualifications including a Masters of Commerce, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investments, a CPA and a CFA program. Eu Joe is currently a CFA Charterholder.

Hugo joined Perpetual in May 2016 as a Senior Research Analyst with a focus on hedge funds and credit opportunities.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Hugo was a Portfolio Manager—Alternatives in IOOF’s multi manager business. Hugo was responsible for building and maintaining a portfolio of hedge funds, private equity, private debt and infrastructure. Prior to becoming a portfolio manager, Hugo was a Senior Research Analyst at IOOF with responsibilities in alternatives, asset allocation and international equities. Hugo was also a Research and Performance Analyst at AM Corporation which was subsequently acquired by IOOF.

Deana Leong joined Perpetual in February 2014 as an Investment Specialist for Perpetual Investments. In February 2015, Deana joined the Investment Research team within Perpetual Private as Research Analyst covering global equity portfolios.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Deana was an Investment Analyst at Ibbotson Associates responsible for dynamic asset allocation and manager research. Deana has held a number of roles within the asset management industry including account management and trading operations. Prior to this she worked in tax accounting.
Deana completed Level II of the CFA qualification in June 2012 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Finance) from the University of Sydney.

David joined Perpetual in May 2015 as a Research Analyst within Perpetual Private's Investment Research team. David is responsible for fund manager research across real estate and infrastructure.
Prior to joining Perpetual, David was an investment research analyst with ANZ where he was responsible for undertaking fund research across global and Australian equities, real estate and infrastructure as well as a range of alternatives strategies.
Prior to joining ANZ, David held roles with MLC and Liquid Capital Markets across a range of investment related functions including investment strategy design and implementation, asset allocation, derivatives and fund manager selection. He has contributed to the design and development of investment portfolios incorporating a range of asset classes and investment strategies used by national financial advice networks.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Economics and Politics & International Relations from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance from Kaplan Professional.

Nicholas joined the Investment Research team in July 2015 as a general Research Analyst across all asset classes.
Nicholas joined Perpetual as a Paraplanner in November 2013 via The Trust Company and was primarily responsible for the management of Estate and Trust portfolios within the Advice Delivery team.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Nicholas held a similar investment advisory role within the Investment Management department at The Trust Company. Prior to joining The Trust Company, Nicholas was an Equities and Derivatives Advisor at BBY Ltd and StoneBridge Group and was responsible for advice delivery, strategy, trade execution and risk management across both domestic and international asset classes.
Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Computing with majors in Information Systems and Computer Science/Software Development and a Bachelor of Commerce with majors in Finance, Marketing and Business Systems Implementation from Deakin University. Nicholas is also a graduate of Perpetual Investment’s Investment Analyst Program (Diversified) and is currently a candidate in the CFA Program.

Emily joined Perpetual Private in July 2015 and is responsible for the investment team’s operations and communications, and leads a team of quant analysts. Prior to this role, Emily was an editor and Supervisory Analyst at Ji Asia/ Société Générale S.A in Hong Kong, where she was responsible for editing and supervising a team of regional analysts’ equity research publications.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Emily worked at Macquarie Group for over four years where she was initially a communications manager at Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services division and then later, an editor/Supervisory Analyst at Macquarie Securities Group. At Macquarie, Emily was responsible for providing editorial support to the international research team and ensuring that FINRA’s supervisory guidelines were applied to all publications. Emily also previously worked at Hunter Hall Investment Management as a communications manager.
Emily has a Bachelor of Communications from Charles Sturt University and a Masters of Business Administration with Distinction from Bond University. She also holds a Supervisory Analyst (Series 16) qualification.
William joined Perpetual Private Investment Research in July 2016, and works within the Operations team as a quantitative analyst. He is responsible for performance reporting, strategic analysis and data management.
Throughout his role, William works with Portfolio Managers, Investment Analysts and Financial Advisers within the business, as well as IT partners externally to ensure the quality and consistency of investment reports, through the active management of data flows.
William completed a Bachelor of Science (Advanced) (Honours I Phys.) at the University of Sydney in 2015, with majors in Advanced Mathematics and Physics, with a minor in Computer Science. He made his finance debut at Perpetual, aiming to apply his mathematical and technical background to a new industry.
Dean joined the Investment Research team in February 2016 and is a Performance Analyst.
Dean joined Perpetual in 2014 under the Graduate Program, which saw him working through Advice Delivery, Philanthropy and Trustee Services, Investment Research and Strategic Advice.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Dean completed his Master of Business Administration through the Sydney Business School. Dean also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Dean’s Scholars) with a double major in Economics and Finance through the University of Wollongong and a Diploma of Financial Planning from Kaplan Professional.
Dean is responsible for making the Perpetual Private investment process as transparent and accessible as possible to advisers, intermediaries and clients. He also has a keen interest in providing investment and economic analysis for individual Perpetual Private clients.

Stephen is responsible for Perpetual Private’s direct equity investment and research capability, including stock selection and ongoing management of direct equity investment portfolios for clients. He provides detailed input on direct equities – company research, recommendations and portfolio structuring and leads a team of five investment analysts across most key equity sectors.
Stephen has spent more than 20 years as an equity market specialist and five years as a Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining Perpetual, he spent three years as a Senior Investment Analyst at Queensland Investment Corporation in the domestic equity funds management team. He was primarily responsible for covering sectors such as Financials, Healthcare, Food & Beverage and Building Materials. Stephen also spent considerable time as a Senior Research Analyst at Macquarie Group, where he specialised in Banks and Diversified Financials.
Stephen’s academic qualifications underpin his extensive experience. He holds a Bachelor of Economics (Macquarie University), is an Associate of FINSIA and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Institute).

Daniel joined Perpetual after 4 years with Constellation Capital Management, a boutique funds manager, where he had responsibility for researching the Consumer Staples, Agriculture, Utilities and Telecommunications sectors.
Prior to Constellation, Daniel worked for Hoyts Corporation where he was Group Accounting Manager responsible for financial reporting and modelling of capital investment opportunities.
Daniel has completed the CFA program and holds a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) and a Master of Commerce (Finance and Accounting), both from the University of Sydney.

Stella joined Perpetual in January 2007 supporting the investments team on direct equities and managed funds research. One year into the role, Stella was promoted into a Research Analyst position with greater focus on direct equities. Since then, Stella has covered Financials, REITs, Telecommunications, Consumer Staples and Discretionary. Her current focus is on Healthcare, Gaming and Small Companies.

Daniel joined Perpetual after four and a half years with Above The Index (ATI) Asset Management, a boutique funds manager, where he had responsibility for researching the A-REITs and Industrial sectors. Prior to ATI, Daniel worked for Bellmont Securities where he was on the sales desk executing client trades and selling option strategies.
