Swimming between the flags

Perpetual Impact

With a 25-year international career in charities behind him David Locke, Assistant Commissioner of the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission (ACNC), has seen philanthropy and NFPs from every angle. He’s worked for charities, managed them and now plays a key role in regulating charities and NFPs at the ACNC.

In this video, David shares his view of the role of regulation in the charities sector and discusses the unique spirit of Australian giving.

This is the first video in a series where David touches on everything from education and sanctions to the role of governance, and poses a range of questions about the size and sustainability of the charities sector in Australia and what we can all do to make it more effective.
