EU Securitisation Regulations - Helping Australian issuers meet EU investors’ expectations
In recent years, there has been an increase in collateral issuance into overseas markets including Europe. With the new EU Securitisation Regulation 2017/2402 expected to be passed into the law by European Parliament in Q4 this year, European investors are expecting Australian issuers to align with Article 5 and 7 of the EU Securitisation Regulations: due diligence, data availability and transparency.
