Code of Conduct

Our culture is underpinned by our three core values: Excellence – delivering exceptional outcomes; Integrity – doing what’s right; and Partnership – succeeding together.

Perpetual is committed to conducting business honestly, with integrity and in accordance with the highest ethical standards as set out in Perpetual’s Code of Conduct (Code). The Code applies to all directors, executives and employees and is designed to assist them in making ethical business decisions. It is supplemented by a range of written policies dealing with our obligations to maintain confidentiality of client and company information, avoid conflicts of interest, ensure full and timely disclosure of material, price sensitive information to shareholders and the market, provide a safe workplace for our staff which is free from discrimination and other matters.

Perpetual promotes a culture where speaking up about Suspected Misconduct is encouraged and employees, former employees or contractors who speak up will be protected from victimisation or other retaliatory behaviour.

Suspected Misconduct includes a breach of law, conduct inconsistent with our Code of Conduct, fraud or unethical behaviour and any behaviour which is detrimental to the interests of Perpetual or its clients.

Perpetual’s Whistleblowing policy is designed to encourage, support and protect individuals who report Suspected Misconduct.
