IMPACT Philanthropy

Philanthropy and philanthropists – at Perpetual we have been connecting the two since 1886.

We’re passionate about helping philanthropists give in a way that creates real community benefits.

We can help you and your family give in the most effective way: leaving a legacy through your will, setting up and administering your charitable trust, helping you grow your donation so that it gives in perpetuity and matching your philanthropic vision with the right causes and charities.

We also believe good philanthropy is about giving Not-for-Profits (NFPs) the tools to generate more impact from all that they do.

That’s why we refer to our work with philanthropists and NFPs as IMPACT Philanthropy.

Awards

We also believe good philanthropy is about giving Not-for-Profits the tools to generate more impact in all that they do. This is why we are proud to support Awards that recognise the works of writers and other talented artists.

The Patrick White Literary Award
The Patrick White Literary Award was established by Mr White with the proceeds of his 1973 Nobel Prize for Literature and is awarded annually to an author who has made an ongoing contribution to Australian literature, but who may not have received due recognition.

Perpetual announces Carmel Bird as the winner of the 2016 Patrick White Literary Award. For more information please refer to the media release.

The Paul Lowin Awards

The Paul Lowin Prizes are among Australia’s richest prizes for music composition and consist of an Orchestral Prize and a Song Cycle Prize. The Prizes were created by Paul Lowin who indicated in his will his wishes to encourage excellence in music composition and to establish a competition for works by living Australians. The Paul Lowin Prizes are managed by Perpetual and presented in collaboration with the Australian Music Centre.

Perpetual in conjunction with the Australian Music Centre announce Lachlan Skipworth as winner of the 2016 Orchestra prize and Brett Dean as the winner of the 2016 Song Cycle prize.  For more information please refer to the Australian Music Centre website.
