Chris joined Perpetual in 2006 and has held the roles of General Manager Trust & Fund Services and from 2008, Group Executive Corporate Trust.
Before Perpetual, Chris was with JPMorgan where he spent 9 years in London as Vice President, Account Management & Analytics of Institutional Trust Services and a year as head of that business for the Australasia region.
Chris is Chairman of the Australian Securitisation Forum and a member of the Advice Board of the Financial Services Council. He is currently completing a BA in Philosophy at the University of London.
Andrew Cannane is General Manager, Managed Funds Services and has responsibility for wholesale trustee and custodial services for registered and unregistered funds and our Singapore Corporate Trustee business.
Prior to Perpetual’s acquisition of The Trust Company, Andrew was the General Manager of Corporate Client Services for The Trust Company where he was responsible for business development and client relationship management.
He was an Executive Director on The Trust Company’s RE and Debt Capital Markets Boards. Prior to this, Andrew established The Trust Company’s office in Singapore and has led the strategic direction of The Trust Company’s international business for the past seven years.
Before joining The Trust Company, Andrew spent 15 years in wealth management, financial markets and retail banking in Australia, Singapore, and the UK.
He holds a MBA (Executive) degree from the Australian Graduate School of Management, a Bachelor of Economics degree from Sydney University and he is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
Rod Ellwood is General Manager – Capital Markets Services and has responsibility of the transaction management, client services and operations teams.
He has over 20 years’ experience in the securitisation and debt capital markets industry.
Prior to joining Perpetual in September 2013, Rod was Senior Manager, Structured Funding at ANZ Group Treasury. He was responsible for securitisation funding including the development and execution of the first covered bond issue in Australia.
During his earlier career, Rod was General Manager Finance and Treasurer involved with the founders in the establishment of Rams Home Loans.
In 1998 he founded Longreach Global Capital which was Australia's first independent asset backed conduit where he served as the CEO for nine years, before returning to the mortgage industry as Treasurer of Bluestone Group until he joined ANZ in 2008.
Rod has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a number of post graduate qualifications in securitisation.
Richard McCarthy is General Manager, Sales and Product and is responsible for growing Perpetual Corporate Trust’s business through new product initiatives, sales and marketing.
Richard has over 18 years’ experience in providing trustee, custody and administration services to the debt capital markets and funds management industry.
Richard joined Perpetual Corporate Trust in August 2007 and has worked across its trust and fund services businesses.
For the twelve months prior to joining Perpetual in August 2007, Richard was the Head of Relationship Management at BNY Mellon’s Corporate Trust Division in Sydney and was an integral part of the transition of JPMorgan Sydney's corporate trust business to The Bank of New York in 2006.
Prior to this, Richard spent eight years in JPMorgan's (Chemical and Chase Manhattan Bank) Institutional Trust Services business in London before moving to JPMorgan Sydney in August 2003 to integrate the business acquisition of Guardian Trust. Richard was a Responsible Officer and his integration role included Business Development, Relationship Management, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Analytics.
Vicki Riggio is General Manager, Management Services, Perpetual Corporate Trust having responsibility for trust management, accounting and investment management services offered to the debt capital markets and managed fund clients in Australia and offshore.
Prior to this, Vicki was the Head of Wholesale Trustee responsible for the delivery of trustee services to a portfolio of funds in excess of $40bn, primarily supporting offshore investment into Australian real assets through Managed Investment Trust structures. She has also previously been responsible for Perpetual’s debt markets trustee operations and ongoing trustee compliance arrangements. Having worked in the financial services industry for close to 20 years, Vicki has extensive experience across a variety of asset classes and trust structures with knowledge across tax, law and accounting.
Vicki is a Responsible Manager for the Australian Financial Services Licences held by Perpetual and has a Bachelor of Land Economics from the University of Technology, Sydney.
Sally Arthur is General Manager, Operations. She is responsible for leading the project to upgrade ABSPerpetual.com to meet the RBA repo-eligibility requirements.
Sally joined Perpetual in 2007 and was formerly Business Unit Head of the Loan Servicing business. She also previously managed Perpetual's Lenders Mortgage Services (PLMS) operations in Adelaide following the acquisition of Wignalls Lenders Mortgage Services.
Prior to joining Perpetual, Sally worked at St.George Bank for over ten years in various operational roles, including the responsibility for the back office functions related to Cash Management with over 200 people in her team. Sally has a wealth of experience in the areas of banking operations, payments, banking technology, project management and legal agreements.
Sales & Relationship Management Team
Cec Charter is Senior Sales & Relationship Manager for Perpetual Corporate Trust with responsibility for business development, predominantly within the funds segment.
Cec has over thirty-five years’ experience in financial services across banking, finance and trustee services.
Previously he worked at The Trust Company, prior to it being acquired by Perpetual in 2013, and has also previously held senior roles with Westpac, Bank of New York Mellon and National Australia Bank. He spent five years in the Westpac Chicago Office with global responsibility for the auto manufacturing segment.
Cec has extensive experience working with global and local institutional investors acquiring assets in Australia and with fund managers setting up funds in the Australian market.
Glen is Head of Sales and Relationship Management at Perpetual Corporate Trust with responsibility for business development for the Managed Funds and Debt Markets sectors covering Australia, Europe and the America's. His strength lies in developing client relationships and business development strategies - skills he has honed over his 15 years in the financial services industry.
Glen has expertise in establishing fund vehicles for local and global fund managers across a broad range of asset classes. Prior to this Glen was based in Singapore for 5 years as Senior Vice President where he was instrumental in growing our Asian trustee business, primarily responsible for assisting our clients list on the Singapore Stock Exchange.
Greg White is Sales and Relationship Manager and is responsible for business development and relationship management primarily within the debt capital markets.
Greg has deep expertise and relationships in this segment having worked with Perpetual Corporate Trust for over 14 years in the Corporate & Structured Finance team, Transaction Management and most recently in the Sales & Product team as Product Manager, overseeing new markets and product development.
Prior to working at Perpetual Greg worked at ANZ Institutional Bank in relationship management and credit analysis, Bendigo Bank and Monte Dei Paschi Di Siena (Italian Merchant Bank).
Greg has over 21 years’ experience in the banking and financial services sector.
A long term resident of Singapore and with experience across a variety of Asian markets, Graham has the responsibility for business development and relationship management throughout Asia. With over 30 years in investment management, he has a deep and broad knowledge of the investment landscape across multiple asset classes. Graham maintains key relationships with a large variety of consultants, advisors and intermediaries which are invaluable to clients in both the establishment and ongoing servicing of their funds.
Graham has recently practised as a private consultant within the Asia Real Estate Fund Management industry. Previously he held senior positions with AMP Capital and Macquarie Bank across Australia, South Korea, Malaysia and Singapore, and has served as an independent director on listed and unlisted property funds which have focussed on cross border investments.Graham is a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and the Australian Property Institute, a personal member of the Singapore Institute of Directors, and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
