THE GRADUATE EXPERIENCE

As a Perpetual Graduate you will usually complete a two-year program of four six-month rotations across different teams or divisions; however, this may vary depending on which of our divisions you join. In 2018 we are hiring graduates into each of our three core divisions, Perpetual Investments, Perpetual Private and Perpetual Corporate Trust; we will discuss your preferences with you during recruitment.

Perpetual is a diverse business, so we seek graduates from a variety of disciplines. Your program is designed to offer both breadth and depth of experience.  We give you an opportunity to explore different roles and learn more about what you enjoy and excel at. During the program you will have the opportunity to participate in development activities that will enhance your leadership skills and deepen your business acumen.

You will be supported throughout the program by a mentor who is a senior manager in our business.  For each rotation, you will also have a buddy to help you get to know your new team and business division. You will also have direct access to our senior leaders through regular Graduate events.

You’re in your final year of study or have completed your degree in 2016 or 2015 and looking for a challenging launchpad for your career in financial services.

What we need from you

To get into our list of candidates you’ll need to show us a credit average GPA (or above), and tell us how you’ve excelled in (and learned from) extra-curricular activities, part-time jobs, summer internships or work experience. In your application we’d love to hear about what unique skills, ideas and experience you can bring to the team.

To be eligible to apply, you must have completed or be due to complete your undergraduate degree in 2015, 2016 or 2017. You will need to complete an online application and submit a resume and academic transcript.  The recruitment process will also include psychometric assessments, video and phone interviews, and a face-to-face assessment day.
