As one of Australia’s leading investment managers, we are committed to investing our clients’ money responsibly, to help them grow and preserve their wealth over the long term.

We make active investment decisions based on our intensive analysis of an investment’s quality, value and risk. So to us ‘responsible investing’ means fully understanding all the factors that can affect the value of our clients’ investments, and this includes environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations.

Responsible investment recognises the growing social and political expectation that companies conduct themselves responsibly and sustainably. If companies do not meet these expectations, increased reputation, litigation and regulatory risks can lead to negative business and financial impacts, and reduced investment returns.

In making investment decisions we consider the effect of ESG factors on a company’s value, along with traditional financial measures. We also use our influence as a shareholder to bring about changes in companies’ ESG practices in order to protect the value of our clients’ investments
