In September 2005, Perpetual announced two key initiatives aimed at strengthening its property capabilities. The initiatives were: firstly, the recruitment of a highly regarded and experienced direct property team and; secondly, the acquisition of the remaining 50% interest in Perpetual James Fielding (PJF) from its joint venture partner, Mirvac Limited.
