Investor relations policy

This policy sets out Perpetual’s investor communications philosophy and describes the ways and means we use to communicate with our shareholders and the investment community.  It aims to:

  • encourage the loyalty and confidence of our investors; and
  • meet the high level of professionalism and quality associated with the Perpetual name


We are committed to:

  • the highest standards of corporate governance;
  • open and frank shareholder communications; and
  • the delivery of information that is timely, consistent, accurate, transparent and adheres to best practice ‘plain English’ standards


In our approach to investor relations, we:

  • communicate regularly with shareholders through company announcements;
  • provide appropriate access for investment analysts and encourage their analysis of our stock; 
  • promote relations with the media to ensure that coverage of Perpetual properly reflects the position and aims of the company and its activities and;
  • encourage staff investment in Perpetual and promote them as ‘shareholder advocates'.

As a rule, we do not brief analysts or media in the six weeks before the release of our half and full year profit announcements.
