Gifts making a difference

From protecting our wildlife to social and community issues, the projects and organisations funded by Perpetual are varied. Funds are available in every state and territory in Australia and are designated to assist five main areas: Arts & Culture, Environment, Education, Medical Research and Social Welfare.

Among the trusts managed by Perpetual, the following support a range of organisations and projects:

  • Clive and Vera Ramaciotti Foundations - biomedical research
  • Teen Spirit Foundation - supporting programs dedicated to youth issues
  • Trust for Nature Foundation - supporting Trust for Nature which works to conserve privately owned natural bushlands.
  • Nita B Kibble Literary Awards - an award for Women writers published within Australia.
  • The Bell Shakespeare Company - supporting the Bell Shakespeare Company.
  • The Helen Lempriere National Sculpture Award - Australia's richest annual prize for sculptors.

Each year, charitable trusts managed by Perpetual benefit people participating in the arts, education and medical research with a number of awards and scholarships.

Perpetual also manages hundreds of charitable trusts with discretion to support general charitable purposes within each state as well as specific issues such as medical research, social welfare, arts and cultural programs and environmental concerns.
