Visit the Ramaciotti Foundations website for more information.

Arts

Helen Lempriere Scholarships
The Helen Lempriere Scholarships are the realisation of a bequest by the late Keith Wood, honouring his wife, Helen Lempriere. Lempriere was one of Australia’s leading female artists in the mid-20th Century, attracting national and international acclaim for her painting, printmaking and sculpture. Keith Wood's generosity supports two scholarship programs for sculptors.

Managed in partnership with Sculpture by the Sea, the Helen Lempriere Scholarships are designed to advance individual artists’ careers by enabling them to travel, study and undertake opportunities to further their artistic development.

The Helen Lempriere Travelling Art Scholarship is offered by the NSW Government through Arts NSW with the support of the Helen Lempriere Bequest. The Scholarship enables a NSW visual artist at the beginning of their career to undertake a program of professional development for one to two years.

Visit the Helen Lempriere Scholarships website for more information.

Literature

Kibble Awards for Women Writers
The Kibble Awards for Women Writers recognise female writers who have published fiction or nonfiction classified as 'life writing'. This includes novels, autobiographies, biographies, literature and any writing with a strong personal element.

Established under the will of Nita May Dobbie, the Nita B Kibble Literary Awards for Women Writers are an excellent example of how an individual can promote cultural endeavour through a charitable trust.

Since the inception of the Kibble Awards for Literature in 1994, many of Australia’s leading women writers have received prizes under the Awards, each benefiting from Nita May Dobbie’s foresight and vision.

Visit the Kibble Awards website for more information.
