The Fund’s investments are most easily defined as investments that fall outside the more traditional asset classes of shares, bonds, cash or property, or use sophisticated trading strategies such as derivatives or short-selling to help achieve their performance objectives.

Perpetual provides investors with the opportunity to access these investments through the following two funds:

Perpetual Income Opportunities Fund aims to provide consistent income through investment in a diversified portfolio of absolute return funds, specialist credit funds and other investments consistent with the Fund’s investment approach.

Perpetual Growth Opportunities Fund aims to provide long-term capital growth through investment in a diversified portfolio of private equity funds, infrastructure funds, opportunistic property funds, absolute return funds and other investments consistent with the Fund’s investment approach.

Together the Funds provide a convenient means of accessing investments in opportunistic assets, which because of their more specialised nature, are generally not as readily accessible as investments in traditional asset classes.
