Perpetual partners with Wellington Management to manage the Perpetual International Share funds

As Responsible Entity, Perpetual Investments has partnered with Wellington Management to manage the Perpetual International Share funds. This two-way partnership gives Perpetual's clients access to a world class manufacturer of international equities products, whilst using our extensive retail support network to act as the sole distributor of Wellington Management’s global value equity capability directly to the Australian and New Zealand retail markets.

This follows a review of Perpetual’s offshore international equities business. The review looked at market demand, profitability and alignment to strategy, confirming both a growing demand for international equities and a strong alignment to Perpetual’s strategy. Our focus on providing clients with excellence in funds management was central to this decision.

An extensive due diligence process was conducted in order to find a partner investment manager that strongly aligned with our approach to managing money and ultimately provides our clients with some of the best international equities management available. Wellington Management is one of the world’s most reputable institutional fund managers and has a strong long-term track record. Wellington Management is a highly-trusted, experienced and well-resourced investment management firm, with a process and philosophy that fits strongly with Perpetual’s business. 
 
This change will also apply to the international share portion of Perpetual’s Diversified products.
