Is it time to focus on income?

Just as the negative impact of European debt concerns had begun to fade, investor confidence has been futher shaken by confirmation that the US and global economic recoveries are losing momentum. Matthew Sherwood, Perpetual’s Head of Investment Market Research discusses the outlook and concludes that with global growth slowing and markets being volatile, but trading sideways, investors might increasingly focus on income.
