Our fixed income team invests to provide our clients with regular income, capital stability and liquidity.

Fixed income is usually the core defensive asset in most people’s portfolios so capital security is always our primary concern. The greater and more transparent the capital security, the greater the liquidity, even in the event of an extreme market shock.

We invest in a diversified range of high quality, income-generating securities which we believe have strong credit quality and represent good value considering the promised returns and potential risks.

We never just buy securities ‘off the shelf’ based just on their credit rating but conduct intensive analysis of the issuer, structure and underlying assets for each and every security.

We generally invest in securities that provide returns linked to interest rate benchmarks. This minimises the risks of dramatic changes in interest rates affecting their capital value.
