Our vision is to be the leading provider of wealth management products and services to financially successful investors and their advisers, and to be the leading corporate trustee.
Founded in Sydney in 1886 as Perpetual Trustees, we’ve helped generations of Australians invest and manage their wealth through all market conditions.
Today we manage investment funds exceeding $27 billion, administer over $205 billion of client funds, and advise clients on over $8 billion of investments (as at 30 June 2011).

We invest in all major asset classes, including Australian and global shares, fixed income and property in a prudent and disciplined manner according to our long-standing investment principles. We make active investment decisions based on our intensive analysis of an investment’s quality, value and risk.
In stocks, we focus on quality businesses with sustainable earnings, strong balance sheets and resilience through the economic cycle. In fixed income we focus on providing regular income, liquidity and capital stability. Our investment team is one of the most stable and experienced in the industry and has been recognised through many industry awards.

Our Perpetual Private Clients advisers provide strategic advice to help our clients achieve their financial goals. Our dedicated personal service draws on our experience as financial trustee for generations of Australians.
Our financial advice can include strategic planning, investment strategy, superannuation and retirement income, estate planning, tax, and life and disability insurance.
Trustee and fiduciary services
Drawing on our experience as a trustee for generations of Australians we provide a range of trustee and fiduciary services to help people protect and manage their assets and income in a tax-effective manner.
We are able to establish and manage private trusts, testamentary trusts, philanthropic and special purpose trusts to manage compensation or other settlements. We also provide a broad range of fiduciary services including estate planning and administration, enduring powers of attorney, and business succession planning.
Corporate trust and business services
Our Corporate Trust business is a leading provider of specialist trustee and business services to other financial institutions. This includes acting as trustee for a broad range of investment funds, securitisation of mortgage investment portfolios, and mortgage processing and administration.
Our extensive knowledge of financial markets, together with our trustee experience means we are entrusted by some of Australia’s major institutions to administer their business, and to protect the interests of investors.
In the community
We aim to make a positive contribution to the community in everything we do: by helping our clients achieve their financial goals, through the returns we provide to our shareholders, through the taxes we pay, through the employment we provide and through our philanthropic endeavours.
