New SHARE-PLUS Long-Short Fund portfolio manager

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Skamvougeras as portfolio manager of the Perpetual Wholesale SHARE-PLUS Long-Short Fund.

Paul is an experienced fundamental long/short specialist and we are pleased to welcome him back to Perpetual. He previously worked in our core Australian Equities team for seven years up to 2001.

Paul’s core strengths for the role are his:

• in-depth understanding of the disciplines around the stock shorting process, market drivers and fundamental analysis during his more than seven years managing a long/short global equity portfolio at CPH/Ellerston Capital
• skills in investing and trading across various asset classes ranging from equities, commodities, currencies and fixed interest based on more than 14 years of experience in the industry in Australia and overseas
• strong understanding of the culture and investment philosophy of our core Australian equities team.
